SARAH PRENTICE:

Sarah has put together an amazing exhibition and will have some of the displays available for our enjoyment at our ID TABLE on Sunday afternoon:

"The 2nd floor exhibit "Fungal Philately: Mushrooms on Stamps" runs through October 11. Beyond the toxic toadstools and pizza toppings of popular imagination, fungi play an essential role in the environment and provide live-saving medicine. The stamps presented here colorfully introduce amazing mushrooms, crucial scientific breakthroughs, and a prominent researcher who called Gainesville home."
