Fungi Farm was founded in 2018 out of love of fungi and has now added the first spawn lab and laboratory cultivation at Fungi Farm in Alabama. Alan enjoys teaching mushroom cultivation to people who want to learn how to grow mushrooms at home.
An exciting grower from Asheville has joined our team! David, aka Cougar, is the Founder of Phenomenal Fungi and the Chief Science Officer. He is an herbalist with 30 years experience and 15 years ago, a friend introduced him to reishi and maitake mushrooms. Soon after, he discovered Paul Stamets’s book “Cultivator” and was hooked.
Our firebrand LOUD MOUTH'ers from Talking Rock are bringing an amazing variety of mushrooms they grow on their farm where they live with goats, donkeys and chickens.
My friend Geo (Georgia) is a longtime mushroom forager and grower who earned her official Georgia wild mushroom foraging license from Mushroom Mountain Farm recently. Geo knows where all the good spots are. She will be selling inoculated oyster mushroom logs.
