CONFIRMATIONS:
- Immediately after the purchase of a ticket, an automated email confirmation is triggered.
- We do not send physical tickets.
- When vendors get to our gates, our staff will have lists of names of all vendors, in alphabetical order, by first name, to locate their names to ensure a speedy process.
- After verification, our staff will hand out the appropriate color-coded wristband and a sticker for the car.
- Our staff also has the ability to check our online database.
ILLEGAL SALES & SERVICES
- Any sales or distribution of illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
- Anyone participating in the illegal distribution or sales will be ejected from the festival and be subject to county and state laws.
- Vendors must sign our Vendor Agreement specifying illegal dealing before being allowed to vend at our locations.
ENTRY AND SETUP
Vendors can start setting up in Rolater Park on Friday, ..............., 2024, after 3 p.m. and as of 6 a.m. Saturday morning, .............., 2024.
On Saturday morning, all vendors must be set up by 8:30.
BREAK-DOWN
Sunday, ...............2024 @ 4 p.m.
DURATION
The festival is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
BOOTH
The limit for helpers per booth is two (2); except for vendors serving both locations. Vendors MUST submit names and everyone is required to wear the name tags provided by our staff.
INTERNET
Internet access via hot spots.
ELECTRICITY
There is no charge for electricity inside the pavilions leased by Georgia Mushroom Festival, Inc. The large pavilions have electrical outlets and vendors must bring their own electrical cords and secure them so they don’t cause safety hazards.
Vendors should also bring their own generators in case backup is needed.
WATER
Fresh spring water is available in the park either from The Cave directly or from water spigots located at the pavilions. There is no charge for the natural spring water in Rolater Park.
TRASH
- We leased a large dumpster for the park and vendors are expected to take their trash there & keep their areas tidy.
- All boxes must be broken down.
- No oil in dumpsters or left for garbage.
PUBLIC RESTROOMS
A public restroom (a fieldstone structure) is located in the park near the Hearn Academy (the white building), and another one can be found behind the public library adjacent to the park.
SALES TAX
We have been asked by the Georgia Department of Revenue to let our vendors know of their requirement to file form FS-32, State of Georgia, Miscellaneous Sales Event Tax Form for our upcoming event and this posting serves as our compliance. The state has our county location listed as _Floyd_ County, with a current tax rate of _7_%.
We do not monitor compliance, but post this form as a courtesy to our GA Dept of Revenue. The form is posted below:
- PAVILIONS:The pavilions are for our speakers' use only.
- VENDORS will set up around the HEARN INN and HEARN ACADEMY buildings.
- SETUP: Our local volunteer vendor setup team will guide vendors to available spots.
- Food vendors will set up in a half circle in front of the HEARN ACADEMY building (the big white building).
- CANOPIES: We don NOT provide canopies. Bring your own.
