Georgia Mushroom Festival

The 8th Georgia Mushroom Festival will take place

Friday & Saturday, October 2 – 3, 2026, RIDGE FERY PARK downtown ROME, GA.

  1. Vendors can arrive as early as 4 PM on Thursday, October 1, to set up.
  2. This is an outdoor festival and will be held rain or shine.

ELIGIBILITY

Vendors are selected from submitted photographs.

ARTS and CRAFTS:

  1. Only original creations made by hand. A craftsman is a person who makes and sells his or her own crafts/arts.
  2. Demonstrations are encouraged.
  3. All applicants must include at least three photographs of ALL items being sold or displayed in booths with the application and fees.
  4. Photos must include ALL items being sold or displayed that are listed on their application, including a booth photo.

BOOTH APPEARANCE IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!

The Festival Team will check all booths for adherence to policies and advise exhibitors of infractions that require immediate attention.

  1. Drape tables to the ground. The more attractive the booth, the better you will sell.
  2. Exhibitors will be expected to keep their booth area clean at all times. Boxes, papers, bags, and general clutter MUST be concealed from view.
  3. Exhibitors are responsible for providing their own tables/chairs and outdoor extension cords.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. Vendors are responsible for collecting, reporting, and paying 7% GA sales tax.
  2. The festival remains open rain or shine.
  3. Be prepared for inclement weather with appropriate protection, so your BOOTH MAY REMAIN OPEN.
  4. All canopies must be weighted on each leg with weights (recommend 40 lbs. on each leg. A tie- down system must be implemented to bar against causing damage to neighboring tents in the event of wind.
  5. The festival is not responsible for any damage due to weather related events or inadequate tent securement.
  6. Vendors are not allowed to sell CocaCola products, but can sell water & other non-alcoholic beverages.
  7. The Festival Team reserves the right to eliminate the selling of unapproved items. EXAMPLES: Commercial items purchased for resale, direct sale company, gambling, martial arts, weapons, pornography, copies of designer products, animal specimens and any other illegal substances.
  8. Devices that produce sound must be operated in a manner that does not infringe on the rights of neighboring exhibitors. The Festival Team reserves the right to determine the acceptable sound level.
  9. A dumpster will be available for vendor trash.

 EXHIBITOR SERVICES

  1. Wireless internet service is available in the park.
  2. 24-hour limited security beginning Friday evening. However, the festival makes no guarantees and assumes no responsibility for loss, theft, and breakage.
  3. Items should be removed at closing or packed away and sufficiently covered.
  4. Electric service is available; bring your own extension cords.
  5. Team members and volunteers will be available to help.

PARKING

  1. Trailers may not be parked within exhibiting area unless they are an integral part of the display. They cannot be used for storage only.
  2. Vehicles cannot be part of a booth display.
  3. Trailers, campers, or vehicles larger than 30 feet, may not be parked in the designated vendor parking area unless permitted by the organizers.

GATE OPERATIONS

  1. Color-coded wristbands, booth number tag, parking pass for 1 vehicle per vendor for use in the designated vendor parking area will be handed out at the gate when checking in.
  2. Exhibitors will be expected to wear their special festival wrist bands at all times.
