Ridge Ferry Park is Rome’s most popular green space, featuring a large playground, picnic areas, and scenic river views.
It also serves as the main trailhead to the multi-purpose, paved ECO Greenway which runs through Downtown Rome.
Spanning 60 acres, the park includes pavilions, a concert stage, fishing spots, river access, picnic shelters, restrooms, sand volleyball courts, an ADA-accessible treehouse, Myra H Riverboat display, and the Rome-Floyd ECO Center & Wetland display area. There is also a dog park located at the Ridge Ferry Park – Shoals entrance.
